Sportytypes.com is managed by us, Pauline and Clive Edgington – living evidence that ‘Jack of all sports, master of none’ is a true statement!

Between us we play hockey, tennis, badminton, squash, golf, croquet and both adore skiing - the original ‘sporty types’.

We run the business from our offices in the Toadsmoor Valley in Gloucestershire.

The idea for the business arose when we had the opportunity to go skiing for the first time 6 years ago and had no idea what to take (by the way, a neck warmer is essential).

We thought we could help others by providing advice on what sporting gifts are really useful to sporty types. Our site is for you – helping you find a gift for a sporty friend or relative, one they will love, one they will use and one which won’t fall apart at the first hurdle.
